Free Alert Presence iPhone App Now Available

Receive various AP feeds from your iPhone

As reported early last week (previous article), I submitted an iPhone application build with AppMakr on 1/09/10.  It took about 30 minutes to create the app and it was approved by Apple after just 10 days.  Quite honestly, I’m amazed at how easy and quick it was to complete the entire process.  To download the free Alert Presence app click here or search for “alertpresence.com feed” at the app store.

My options at AppMakr were limited to providing only RSS feeds so I decided to include 3 distinctive options.Alert Presence iPhone App

  • AlertPresence.com Feed
  • Twitter Feed
  • Tumblr Feed

The cost was $49.95 after using a discount code but giving readers another way to access Alert Presence content was worth it.  It should be noted that Mashable is reporting today on a new iPhone/Android app creator (iSites) which launched with a fee of only $25.00.

iSites appears to offer the same type of functionality as AppMakr with the added bonus of an Android app submission.  Since I haven’t used their service, I can’t necessarily recommend it but the price makes it worth trying.

If you’re looking to create an iPhone app for your blog or other rss feeds, you may want to give either of these services a try.  It sure beats hiring a programmer.
